SUMMARY:Redbad raid (Pinkster sail)
DESCRIPTION:Dit jaar organiseren we voor het eerst de Redbad Raid in het Pinksterweekend. De opzet is vergelijkbaar met de Dorestad Raid\, maar iets korter. We vertrekken vanuit Akkrum en na een rondtocht door Zuidwest-Friesland keren we daar ook weer terug. Voor de Redbad Raid is de Avontuur ons moederschip. Er zijn 20 slaapplaatsen aan boord. Uiteraard is het ook mogelijk om aangemeerd aan de Avontuur op je eigen boot te slapen. Koken en corvee doen we zelf. In totaal hebben we plaats voor 24 deelnemers. \n\n\n\nVrijdag in de namiddag laten we onze bootjes te water bij De Drijfveer in Akkrum. In de vroege avond varen we met de Avontuur de Meinesloot uit om vervolgens een mooi plekje te zoeken om vrij te liggen voor de nacht. Zaterdag\, zondag en maandag varen we een rondtocht. Maandag in de middag keren we terug bij De Drijfveer in Akkrum\, waar we de bootjes weer uit het water halen. \n\n\n\nHet wordt een echte sail & oars raid! Open water\, nauw vaarwater\, af en toe een echt klein slootje\, en natuurlijk bruggen! Als deelnemer moet je soms langere afstanden kunnen roeien of peddelen (ook bij hardere wind) en gemakkelijk je mast kunnen strijken. Bij het plannen van de route houden we rekening met een maximale hoogte met gestreken mast van 120 cm. \n\n\n\nWij kijken uit naar een mooi nieuw – en hopelijk jaarlijks terugkerend – evenement! \n\n\n\nDe inschrijving wordt gecombineerd met de Dorestad Raid – waarbij we proberen iedereen voor tenminste één raid te plaatsen.  \n\n\n\nPresentatie_Redbad_DSR_2026_NL_finaal_200226Presentatie bekijken\n\n\n\nLet op: deelnemers aan evenementen van Stichting Natuurlijk Varen hebben kennis genomen van en gaan akkoord met de Algemene Voorwaarden en de Veiligheidsaandachtspunten \n\n\n\nAanmeldingsformulier_RR_en_DSR_finaal_NL_200226Formulier downloaden\n\n\n\nRedbad Raid (EN)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis year we will organize the first Redbad Raid during the Pentecost weekend (Friday\, May 22nd to Monday\, May 25th). The format is similar to the Dorestad Raid\, but slightly shorter. We’ll depart from Akkrum and return there after a tour of southwest Friesland. The Avontuur will serve as our mothership for the Redbad Raid. There are 20 sleeping places on board. Of course\, it’s also possible to sleep on your own boat while moored at the Avontuur. As participants we will take care of all the cooking and chores ourselves. There is room for a total of 24 participants.On Friday afternoon\, we will launch our boats at De Drijfveer in Akkrum. In the early evening\, we will sail with the Avontuur out of the Meinesloot and then find a nice spot to moor for the night. Saturday\, Sunday\, and Monday we will sail a round trip. Monday afternoon\, we will return to De Drijfveer in Akkrum\, where we will take the boats out of the water.The planned trip will have all the makings of a true sail & oars raid! Open water\, narrow waterways\, the occasional small ditch\, and of course\, bridges! As a participant you must be able to row or paddle your boat over longer distances\, (even in stronger headwinds)\, and easily lower your mast for the bridges.
